Sint Maarten Pelikaan (donkerblauw)
The cover page of the Implementation Agenda and Implementation Report shows the Brown Pelican. This is the national symbol of Sint Maarten, it symbolizes resilience and adaptability. This is what Sint Maarten, supported by the Netherlands, strives for when implementing the reforms as described in the Country Package: a more resilient economy and society. The Implementation Agenda and Implementation Report outline the plans and progress made in the reforms. This process is symbolized by the pencil: the Brown Pelican is ready to set and follow the lines. Lastly, the colors used are the colors of the Sint Maarten National Development Vision 2020-2023 and Beyond: Growing Stronger Together.

Better insight into planning and progress

The Implementation Agenda and Implementation Report provide periodic insights into the planning and progress of the reforms outlined in the National Packages Previously presented as two separate documents, they have now been combined into a single report. This consolidation offers a clear and concise overview of both the planning and the progress at a glance. For each theme, the objectives have been further refined to clearly articulate the goals being pursued. Additionally, the report highlights how the reforms align with the national policies of Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten, ensuring coherence. Moreover, a historical overview has been included for each theme, showcasing the results already achieved. This reflects the substantial progress made over the past years and underscores the ongoing efforts towards meaningful reform.

Cooperation between Aruba, Curacao, Sint Maarten and the Netherlands

The new format was developed through close collaboration between Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, and the Netherlands. The Implementation Agenda outlines the planning for the period from September 2024 to March 2025, while the reporting sections provide an update on the progress of reforms over recent months. The next edition is scheduled for release in early April 2025.
