Visit of the Council of Ministers of Sint Maarten to TWO
The TWO conducted a very productive meeting with the new Council of Ministers on Friday the 17th of May. The Council was represented by Prime Minister Dr. Luc Mercelina and ministers Veronica Jansen-Webster (VSA), Marinka Gumbs (Finance), Grisha Heyliger-Marten (TEATT). Minister Plenipotentiary Patrice Gumbs and Deputy Minister Plenipotentiary Gracita Arrindell were also present. Colleagues from the Representative of the Netherlands were present as well.
It was an informal lunch meeting where the TWO was provided with the opportunity to explain how it can assist St. Maarten further with the initiatives in the Country Packages. Furthermore the Prime Minister expressed that he’s looking forward to continued professional working relationship with the TWO for the advancement of St. Maarten.
